English Term 1 - 10EV I’ve learnt a lot in English this year Miss Evans recently read us a book called The absolutely true diary of a part time Indian which is about a Indian how moved out of his Rez school and moved to a white school for a better future,but he didnt realise that he left his BFF for a school where he didn't have any friends.We have also been learning about child slavery in india and pakistan Were children are sold for workers for like 4.50$ which I think is enough to live on a week. These kids are treated and abused by the masters and their kids by saying your clothes Are like trash if I had those clothes I’d rather die than have them which is really mean. We have also have been doing something called the big question and the success ticket Where basically it's just revision on what we did the past day and the success ticket Is asking you if you think you did well this lesson.Miss Evans also did a challenge recently In term one where you had to try write/type one hundred words in big question under 5 minutes

Explaining Game Platforms.

I am evaluating the game Journey the PlayStation and Xbox game made by unity.The music of the game play caught  my eye in the trailer I also think they graphics is amazing Id defiantly buy it if I had a PlayStation instead of an Xbox.The music in the game journey really suits the game because it

Unity is a really good gaming platform for kids at school and adults of all ages.The game Never Alone is based in Alaska and their scary snow storms and its amazing how you can do this on just on one website called Unity.The game never alone is like a adventure game where you can go to level to level on this game.The community was connecting with the youth so want to turn it around so the got the kids that dropped out to smoke drugs and hang out and not make a future for them and their kid's.
The percentage for the kids graduating was 56 percent and now it has been prompted up to 91 percent.This game is really good because it got the kids that dropped out to go back into school and finish the school year and graduate.

Error Control

What are parity cards.A parity card is a form of two colors Black and White and numbers of 1 and 0.So Miss Chowfin put us in groups of four and five and four and we try to find where the error was and afterwards when you have found the error by the way the black and white colors must be even if they are not even you can see where the errors are the game was really fun and then Miss sent us onto our computers to try the online version of the parity game.This picture right here is what a parity card/Trick is.Also the black and white cards wore placed down like the photo but on the ground and you had to detect the error

Easy to make M&M ball's

My favorite Christmas Treat will have to be M&M ball cookies,and i know that they are not christmas treat but there are easy to make here are the recipe.

1. Add Photo. Start by mixing melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, M& M's in a bowl until well blended. You might have to add a little more powdered sugar.
2. Make 1" balls. Freeze for 20 minutes. Or until firm.
3. Microwave chocolate chips for 60 seconds checking every 15. Roll balls in chocolate.

So this week has been far the scariest week.First the Kikrora Earthquake at 12:05am.Oh Also Muffti day today were raising money for people in Kiakora. YayYay also here is some of my Antarctica work.

So this week we have been busy yeah busy

We have been doing Are Yr 8 leavers project when basically we have to leave something behind like a table or something.

How to be an Awesome friend

All good friends are like loyal companions, they will be with you whenever they can and will stay with you for a long time. Finding a good friend like this can be hard but they are out there! Treat your friends like you want them to treat you.

Something all good friends have is of course a secret handshake. And don't forget to add in a nickname for your best pal!

Now their favorite sports team or favorite team for  anything and be respectful to them and don’t be mean if they're having a bad day pat them on the back and say it’s ok.

A good friend is someone who wont talk behind your back and be mean you when you do something wrong in a game and they give you crap about it.

Also we have been doing School ideas for our playground
like to paint the NZ flag on our court or make a school flag.

1. To get a school radio going in Year 7 and 8 speak. We could also have music broadcasts

2. We should make our own school flag.

And also Madeline came in and told us about internet trolling. It is when someone online is teasing you and when you react and it feeds the troll SO DON'T REACT AND LEAVE THE SERVER OR PARTY.

T3 Week6

This week we have been  a bit busy that's why we haven't been doing weekly posts but now we are back :)

T2 Week 1/2 Reflection
